Jerry Goodin of the Indiana State Police said Dwight "David" Jernigan, 42, with a last known address of Taylorsville, died of a single gunshot wound to the head following a chase with police Friday. 24, 2010, at his residence. Judge was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church at Medora and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1996 as an for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He was a member of Knights of Pythias, Brownstown. Born July, 11, 1927, at Dupont, he was born the son of James Lawrence Fee and Lizzie Belle Davidson Fee. On March 8, 1952, he married Juanita Mae Cummings, and she survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Susan Kay (Randy) Heller, Brownstown; sons, Frank F. (Susan) Fee Loogootee, Bob (Carol) Fee, Brownstown, Greg (Sherrie) Fee, Medora, and Mark (Audrey) Fee, Medora; a brother, Garrett (Mary) Fee, Medora; sisters, Ruby Fosbrink, Brownstown, Lettie (Frank) Wolka, Val- lonia, and Troy (Duane) Pardieck, Ohio; and 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cathy Ann Smallwood; one granddaughter, Angie Young; two grandsons, Tim Zike and Justin Fee; one greatgrandson, Bryson Hoffman; one sister, Hazel Curry; and an infant sister.
